How to Have a Happier Workplace

We all want to be happy and successful in the work we do. And we want our employees to be happy and successful.

But most of us think that being successful in our work is what will make us happy. This may view be back to front. The science tells us that the positive brain works significantly better than the negative brain. All measured indicators including intelligence, energy, creativity, productivity, resilience and others, rise significantly when daily positivity is increased.

When we actively work at our happiness and positivity we increase dopamine in the brain. Dopamine not only further increases our sense of happiness but it also turns on the learning centres in the brain, improving adaptability and resilience.

About Judith Lissing

Judith Lissing is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Wellness Coach, with 15 years experience in teaching stress management and meditation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Immunology and a Masters degree in Public Health, both from the University of NSW. She is also an Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of NSW since 1999. Judith is trained in Wellness Coaching with Wellcoaches U.S. and holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. Prior to coaching professionally, Judith held a statewide management role with NSW Health working with all levels of staff across the health sector.
