Learn Mindfulness Meditation Program:

Conducted in groups of 5-15 people. Length of program and number of sessions can be tailored to suit the group size and your specific needs.

Many studies have shown that meditation can not only improve one’s sense of well-being but will also enhance the ability to concentrate and focus on a task. You might ask yourself if this is something that would help your staff achieve their targets.

Individual or Small Group Wellness Coaching:

Wellness coaching is about helping people achieve their health goals, such as stop smoking, exercise more, eat better foods, achieve work/leisure balance in their lives.

If your team works long hours and generally neglect their health this program is particularly helpful as it allows each person in the team to identify and work towards their own health & wellness goals. Individual Hypnotherapy sessions:

This is particularly useful for more specific or more difficult problems such as to improve motivation to stop smoking or lose weight, to improve self-esteem, or for anxiety or chronic pain.

Hypnotherapy may be the answer you are seeking if you have any particular employees with specific issues that would benefit from more individual attention. Sessions last approx 1 hour and may be conducted in our rooms in Double Bay or in the privacy of your office. Depending on the issue, sessions by phone may also be appropriate. About Your Mind Coach:

Judith Lissing is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Wellness Coach, with 15 years experience in teaching stress management and meditation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Immunology and a Masters degree in Public Health, both from the University of NSW. She is also an Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of NSW since 1999. Judith is trained in Wellness Coaching with Wellcoaches U.S. and holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. Prior to coaching professionally, Judith held a statewide management role with NSW Health working with all levels of staff across the health sector.


What is Mindfulness?

The definition of Mindfulness is paying attention deliberately and without judgment. It’s about being present, wherever that might be. It helps us to refine our attention and awareness, allowing us to slow down from the frenetic pace in which most of us live to a more manageable level. Mindfulness can open us up to the possibilities that exist in each moment of our lives, to release the judgment that stops us from experiencing the fullness and the uniqueness of these moments. Practiced regularly, this technique can help us to work more productively and live more harmoniously.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is a self-awareness technique that enhances personal insight and taps into the innate potential for self-healing that we all have. It is a state of heightened focus or awareness and helps train our brains to improve concentration. It also mobilizes and develops our ability for self-compassion as well as compassion for others, helping to improve self-esteem and providing a general feeling of relaxed well-being. It is a focused and concentrated state of being just there, in that moment, and nowhere else.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a safe, proven, and effective tool for directly accessing the subconscious mind, wherein resides our imagination, emotions, memories, our automatic body responses, habit patterns, and our most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us.
These deeply held patterns and beliefs drive our decisions, shape our perceptions and direct our lives. Changing these subconscious patterns allows us to make a lasting, positive change in our lives.

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative effort between the client and therapist using the natural trance states that occur when someone is very relaxed.

What Is Wellness Coaching?

All “coaching” is based on the same principles. Whether it’s Executive coaching, Business coaching, Life coaching or coaching for Health & Wellness, the Coach facilitates personal discovery and change in the client and mentors them through the process. Wellness coaching focuses on helping the client identify aspects of their life that they would like to improve in order to gain a greater sense of well-being, eg better work/leisure balance, improved general health and fitness, work on relationship building, etc. The result is a deeper sense of happiness and contentment. And as we all know, happy employees work more effectively and are less inclined to leave and seek work with other companies.

How long does Wellness Coaching take?

Wellness coaching begins with the development of a Wellness Vision. The length of time it takes to achieve this vision clearly depends on what it is and how far the individual is from that goal. Generally speaking, at the first face-to-face meeting 3 month goals are set, together with smaller weekly and monthly goals. After this first meeting, much of the work can be done using phone and email, with occasional further meetings as required. In this way, the client does the work but the coach helps to keep them on track.

Sometimes during the Wellness Coaching process, issues that would benefit from Hypnotherapy or Counselling may be identified. This additional face-to-face work would then be managed into the program.
