Ever felt you needed someone to help you achieve your health goals, like stop smoking, lose weight, get fit? Or maybe to just help you turn off the “monkey-mind” and get some peace.  Perhaps you’ve seen a dietician or a personal trainer but couldn’t get where you wanted to go because your mind wasn’t in quite the right place.

At Your Mind Coach we hope to show you that when your mind and your body both work together to achieve the same goal there’s very little you can’t do! Wouldn’t that be great!

What’s a Wellness Coach?

In Australia we are relatively familiar with the terms Business Coaching, Life Coaching, Executive Coaching.  Wellness Coaching works on the same principles but focuses on helping you to improve your health and wellness.  And let’s face it, in today’s world of high stress, fast food and junk thoughts (mostly negative), who couldn’t use some help in getting their health & wellness back on track?!

What would my Wellness Coach do?

A Wellness Coach can help you to develop a vision of where you want to be in relation to your health in say, 6 or 12 months.  We would then guide you in setting achievable short and medium goals and help keep you on track.  These goals may include specific and tangible things like wanting to stop smoking or lose weight.

But you may also have more general goals like feeling happier or having more energy. Your Wellness Coach will work with you to determine how you can achieve these goals, too.

How does it work?

Your program will consist of 1 or more initial face-to-face (or Skype) consultations, depending on your needs, and would be followed up by regular emails and phone calls.  This format is especially useful for busy people who can’t take a lot of time off work to meet in person.  You will have “homework”, ie things to achieve between calls and your coach will check on you regularly to help motivate you and ensure you stay on track and achieve your goals within (or close to) to time frame you have set yourself.
